Red Door Tours planned an extraordinary trip for two colleagues and me this spring. We were working in Casablanca and wanted to travel around afterwards. Red Door picked us up at the hotel once we were finished working and drove us to Essaouira, the Atlas Mountains, and Marrakesh. They ensured that we had tour guides everywhere, booked our riads and excursions, and were flexible with special requests (we specifically asked for the Atlas Mountain stop). The riads were all well-chosen–beautiful and accommodating places that really added to our experience in each location.

My favourite experiences included listening to punked-out Gnaoua music in a cafe in Essaouira after strolling through the night market, hiking to a waterfall and enjoying fresh squeezed juice from oranges chilled in a stream, the class in which we learned how to make couscous and two kinds of tagines at a cooking school for women, buying carpets woven by women from the Atlas Mountains from a shop on the waterfall hike trail.

This was a great trip and Red Door made it as easy as it could be. I would book another one with them in a heartbeat.

Nicole has developed close relationships with operators in Morocco. Your private tour is planned using their extensive network, knowledge and attention to detail. Nicole has travelled extensively in Morocco and can offer first hand travel knowledge.

What hotels do we use?

We select boutique accommodation with an emphasis on comfort, location and character.

3, 4 or 5 star accommodation options are available.

When is the best time to visit Morocco?

March – mid May and September – October and great months to plan your visit.

Are transfers included?

You will be met at the airport by your driver. Return transfers are also included.

When will my booking be confirmed?

Step 1: Book your tour online

Step 2: You’ll recieve an invoice via email. Pay your deposit using visa/mastercard or direct deposit.

Step 3: You’ll receive an email confirming your private tour.

Step 4: Get excited……your adventure awaits!

What if I have a question?

We have an office in Orange, Australia and Nicole can be contacted by phone 0402650190 or email. You will also be given the contact details of our travel agent in Morocco.

How can I pay?

You can pay with visa/mastercard or direct deposit into our bank account.

When is the final payment due?

We require a deposit to secure your private tour.

Final payment is due 95 days prior to travel.

Do I need a visa?

Check with your travel agent, consular office or the Smart Traveller website.

Most visitors to Morocco do not require a visa.

All passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the duration of your tour.

Will our driver speak English?

Your driver will speak English. We can also arrange guides for walking tours in the cities or at the monuments.

Do I require travel insurance?

It is a requirement to have a valid travel insurance policy when booking a tour.

It is recommeded you take out insurance at the time of booking.

Are tips included?

No, tips are not included in private tours. We’ll happily provide a guide.

Do I need vaccinations and medical advice?

We suggest you visit your doctor for advice on vaccinations and medication prior to travel.
