Glorious India!
Nicole curated the most interesting, diverse, and authentic India experience. We visited the Taj Mahal and Gandhi Ashram, but also small villages with traditional craftspeople with generational talents, fabric and paper productions, markets, and historical sites. The pace was full, but she flexed as needed. She kept us together and moving, providing extra help as needed. Our group size was perfect. Nicole engaged and very knowledgeable. The friendly local guides spoke English clearly. The value of the trip was outstanding. I made many new friends. I hope to go on another Red Door Tour soon.
Kim – India Textile Tour 2025
I was a part of the Red Door Tours of India in January 2025. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The focus of our tour was textiles, and we were able to see a variety as well as having the opportunity to experience creating our own. The tour group was wonderful and I appreciated the care Nicole extended to us. I highly recommend Red Door Tours if you are considering visiting India!
Julia – India Textile Tour 2025
I had a fantastic group tour with Red Door Tours in India!
Nicole organized a textile tour of northern India, and made sure our group saw as much as possible – from beautiful museums to little remote villages where the people do traditional hand embroidery. Throughout the tour we had delicious meals and comfortable accommodations, and also participated in workshops, like block printing and tie dyeing. If you are looking for a tour where you spend time with locals, you should book a tour with Nicole!

I always fantasized about visiting India and recently had the opportunity to do so with Nicole, of Red Door Tours….. 2 weeks of discovery, fascination, learning and fun.

I really got to know India on a deep level…… and made wonderful new friends along the way. Her sense of humor, organizational skills, and attention to detail kept the tour constantly moving, exploring, and having fun.
India is filled with exploding color and sound and as our tour was focused on the textiles of India, we experienced beautiful textiles and art and participated in workshops …. And let’s not forget the food!
In the capable hands of Nicole and first guide extraordinaire Imran, you will discover India as I have, while being kept safe and cared for !
Visit India, make new friends, and fall in love!
