Nicole has developed close relationships with operators in India. Your private tour is planned using their extensive network, knowledge and attention to detail. Nicole has travelled extensively in India and can offer first hand travel knowledge.
What hotels do we use?
We hand select your accommodation with an emphasis on comfort, location and authenticity. We prefer heritage properties with chacarter.
3, 4 or 5 star accommodation packages are available.
Will our driver speak English?
Yes your driver will speak English. We can also arrange guides f0r walking tours of cities or to visit the forts and palaces.
Will I have the same driver for the whole trip?
Yes, your driver will pick you up from the airport and be with you for your entire stay.
When is the best time to visit India?
February, March and early April and October and November are great times to visit Rajasthan and Gujarat. The weather is mild.
January and February are perfect for visiting the South of India.
Are transfers included?
Absolutely! You will be met at the airport by your driver. Return transfers are also included.
When will my booking be confirmed?
Step 1: Book your tour online
Step 2: You’ll recieve an invoice via email. Pay your deposit using visa/mastercard or direct deposit.
Step 3: You’ll receive an email confirming your private tour.

What if I have a question?

You will also be given the contact details of our travel agent in India.
How can I pay?
You can pay with master/visa card or direct deposit into our bank account.
When is the final payment due?
We require a deposit to secure your private tour.
Final payment is due 95 days prior to travel.
Please refer to our terms and conditions for private tours.
Do I need a visa?
Check with your travel agent, consular office or the Smart Traveller website.
Most visitors to India require an e-visa which can be obtained 30 days prior to travel.
All passports must be valid for at least six months beyond the duration of your tour.
Do I require travel insurance?
It is a requirement to have a valid travel insurance policy when booking a tour.
It is recommeded you take out insurance at the time of booking.

Are tips included?
Tips are not included in private tours. We’ll happily provide a guide as to an appropriate amount.
Do I need vaccinations and medical advice?
We suggest you visit your doctor for advice on vaccinations and medication prior to travel.

Trip of a lifetime!
Morocco with Red Door Tours was the trip of a lifetime.
The tour was packed with amazing experiences that were all so special and different from each other (a gourmet dinner that was out of this world, a rug co-op run by women, that Saharan camel ride).
It was so much more than I ever could’ve planned on my own. What I really valued was Nicole’s willingness to pivot when anyone had an idea of something they wanted to experience. Live music? Sure! Taking public transportation to see the beach? She made it happen for those that were interested. I expected the downside of a tour to be the loss of spontaneity, but Nicole’s personality and enthusiasm meant the tour welcomed all those special unplanned experiences that make traveling so special.
I would absolutely do another tour with her!
